Moving

Just so everyone knows... Alex and I are moving again. This time to Bountiful! We are really excited to start fresh and be in a bigger apartment, but we will really miss our ward. Just a little explanation on the move... We have been managing apartments for about 6 months now and lately I have really been struggling to keep up with the demands now that Alex is gone during the day, leaving me with all the work. But not only that, there were meetings I couldn't attend with Kyle there, our supervisor was terrible at communication, and we were just getting sick of having our home be our workplace. So... we talked with the owner and company and resolved that they would find another manager that had more time and we would find another place to live. It really was a blessing while we had the opportunity. Not paying rent got us through paying for Kyle and also the long expensive process of Alex's applications and interviews. Now that Kyle is bought and paid for :) and Alex's interviews are over (for now) we feel like it is a good time to move on. We will be moving again once Alex decides on a Medical school, but for now it will be a nice place for us.

Every time we tell people we're moving to Bountiful someone always says, "What? Why Bountiful?" Well, here's why.... It is still two bedrooms, but very big compared to our current place. It is newer, has new appliances, and has washer and dryer hookups. We probably won't get a washer and dryer right away, but at least until then they have an on-site laundry facility. Yay for no more laundro-mat trips!! :) It has a pool, jacuzzi, and exercise facility right near our unit with a huge grassy lawn out back that is open to all!! Also, for the first time ever since we've been married, our dinner table will be in the kitchen, not in the living room. SO nice! :) The complex is right next to the freeway, making traveling to family easy. It is just exactly what we were looking for at the time. And the best part of the whole thing is that it is well within our price range!

We are just excited for our new-found apartment, and plan on moving in slowly all this week. Finding this place in our time of need was just another small piece of evidence that God really does look out for us!
